Welcome to WA Plunge Pools

WA Plunge Pools is a family run business which specialises in small fibreglass pools made here in Perth.
We offer a personalized service to our customers and really focus on making the whole experience run smoothly and hassle free.

With us its all about quality not quantity. The build quality of our granite finish gel coats and the structural integrity of our shells is second to none. Mike van Woringen, the company proprietor has over 25 years experience in the pool and spa industry, even longer if you consider his father started Perth's first swimming pool supplies shop in Floreat over 40 years ago.

If you want a great pool pool at an unbelievable price then give us a ring and we would be happy to give you a quote or come out to our showroom in Lansdale with your plans and inspect these great pools.

Daunted by the whole pool buying process?

See our step by step guide .

1. We welcome you to inspect our pool range at our premises at Lansdale and ask that you bring your house plans. Here you will be given the prices of our pools including installation costs.

2. We then come to your home to do a site inspection and confirm the price given and measure up pool location as well as machinery access. Equipment location is decided on and therefore the location of the power points needed. Working out the cheapest way of craning or lifting the pool into the hole is done on this visit. You then sign a building application form required by the council and give us a copy of your site plans.

3. WA Plunge Pools will then submit all relevant paperwork to your council and Watercorp via our building surveyors for their tick of approval.  Once we have approval - which is usually 2 weeks we schedule your install for a time convenient to you. If you are within the Wanneroo shire we can get same day over the counter approvals and have your pool installed within the week.

4. On install day we arrive at 7.30 am. 2-3 hrs later the pool is getting lowered in the hole. We start backfilling and filling the pool with water followed by equipment connection. Usually we are finished by 3pm. Sand removal is included in the price providing it is clean fill.

5. The next day once the pool is filled with water we come back and give you whats known as the handover. It includes instruction on cleaning your pool, testing/balancing the water and equipment know how. You can then confidently look after your new pool and if ever you are in doubt we encourage you to ring us with any questions. We also balance the water for you and soon after this the pool is ready to be swum in - typically its hard to keep the kids out once we’ve done the handover.

6. A company we use called rent-a-board supply 3 services that may or may not be needed. 1. Temp fencing once pool is filled over 300mm {legally required but customers sometimes supply their own} 2. Protective boards {not all driveways or paving will need this } 3. Pencil compaction {strongly advised to stop pool surrounds sinking}. This can all be discussed during the site inspection and a combination price can be given. We also have great contacts for fencing and paving. They will be organized by WA Plunge Pools and will liaise with us.

Thankyou for reading this, we hope it has clarified any questions you may have.
There are a few other things we discuss during our site visit but the above outlines the bulk of it.
Putting in a pool runs smoothly when you use the right people who offer first class service.
